I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Gannon University. I also earned my Instructional I teaching license in secondary mathematics, which certified me to teach grades 7-12. I earned my Master of Science degree in Pure Mathematics from West Virginia University. I am currently working toward my Ph.D. in Mathematics Education through the University at Buffalo.

Teaching Specialties

  • Algebra Sequence
  • Math for Elementary Education Majors
  • Field Experiences

I am interested in ways students navigate the transitions between academic levels, particularly in the mathematics classroom. Additionally, I have contributed to research on students' and teachers' conceptualizations of slope. As a teacher educator, I am interested in research that will strengthen the link between theoretical best practices and their implementation in the classroom.
