Laurie Grolemund, M.S.W., LSW

Laurie started with Penn State Behrend in 2023. She has been working in the helping profession for over ten years, with her primary role being helping people cope with major life changes. Laurie appreciates the challenges people face in life and values the opportunity to help individuals process through those challenges. Recognizing one's strengths at a time of weakness can be a lifelong learning experience. Taking the first step to explore and understand oneself is sometimes the most challenging. Laurie is here to assist with this exploration. Personally, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family. She appreciates a good walk in the woods, through a field, or down by the lake.
