Too tired to hike up the Jordan Road hill? Take the bus. The Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority has added a new bus route with six stops on the Penn State Behrend campus. Rides are free for anyone with a Penn State ID.
Holli LeVan, a junior majoring in psychology, boards a free 'e' shuttle on the Penn State Behrend campus.
The free āeā shuttle will circle campus between 7:40 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Service will be offered every 20 minutes.
The route begins at the University Gate apartments. Other stops include the Junker Center, the science complex, Perry and Ohio halls and the north and south entrances to the Jack Burke Research and Economic Development Center.
A separate bus will offer Sunday service to the University Gate apartments, the Millcreek Mall, Summit Towne Center and the Tinseltown theaters. That service, like all other āeā routes, is free for anyone with a valid Penn State ID.
