Tickets are now on sale for the April 19 comedy show with Seth Meyers and Chris Hardwick. Penn State Behrend student tickets are just $15, and are available at the Office of Student Activities desk in the Reed Union Building. Public tickets are $25. Online ordering is now CLOSED. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. in the Junker Center. Seating is general admission. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Meyers, the head writer for “Saturday Night Live,” is featured on the program’s Weekend Update segment, a mock news broadcast. He took on the role in 2006, partnering with Amy Poehler. When she left the program in 2009, he became sole anchor.
Meyers, 39, joined “Saturday Night Live” after working with the improv group Boom Chicago. His film credits include “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” “Journey to the Center of the Earth” and “New Year’s Eve.”
Chris Hardwick will open the show. He hosts “The Nerdest Podcast,” a weekly geek-chic Internet program, and “Talking Dead,” a talk show devoted to AMC’s zombie drama “The Walking Dead.”
