ERIE, Pa. — Penn State Behrend will hold its spring admissions open house for prospective students on Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to noon.

High school students and their families can meet with faculty from the Black School of Business, the School of Engineering, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the School of Science to learn more about Penn State Behrend’s 40 undergraduate degrees and 50 minors and certificates.

“We always say that the best way to get a feel for a college is to come to campus and see it for yourself,” said Andrea Konkol, director of enrollment management at Penn State Behrend. “Open House is a fantastic opportunity not just to tour the campus, but to meet us and really get a sense of what it would be like to be a student here.”

A student information fair, admissions and financial aid sessions and tours of campus, residence halls and labs also will be offered. Special information sessions will be offered for prospective students, for admitted students, and for current Penn State students who are interested in transferring to Behrend.

A special session before the Open House, at 8:30 a.m. in Metzgar Center, is designed to answer the questions of adult learners.

As a bonus, Penn State Day participants will receive a waiver on their Penn State undergraduate application fee — a $65 value.

Penn State Day registration can be made online at www.behrend.psu.edu/openhouse, by calling 814-898-6100 or by emailing [email protected].
