Vincent Intrieri, a 1984 graduate of Penn State Behrend and senior managing director of Icahn Capital Management, and his wife, Joanne, gave $100,000 to launch the college's first student-managed investment fund. The Intrieri Family Student Managed Fund is run by juniors and seniors enrolled in Behrend's Portfolio Management and Analysis class. Any profits are reinvested in the fund, which is measured against the S&P 500 and other indexes.
