Pamela is a 1989 Penn State graduate with a B.S. in Nursing. She most recently worked at Hospice of Warren County before moving to Birmingham, Michigan, with her family. Hometown: Altoona, Pennsylvania.
Current residence: Birmingham, Michigan.
About her work: The thing I enjoyed most about my work was providing compassion and care to my patients (and their families) at the end stages of their life.
Family: Husband, Brian, one daughter, Morgan, and two sons, Jake and Nathen. Nathen and his wife, Angela, both earned PLET degrees at Behrend in 2018.
Why she joined the WEC board: I hope to help educate and encourage students, especially young women, to be strong leaders. I’m also looking forward to helping start a mentoring program that will provide valuable contacts for the students.
Compassion counts: One thing I find frustrating is when someone lacks compassion for what another person is going through. It’s important to try and see things through their lens.

Stay focused: Work hard, set goals, and you can achieve anything you set your mind to. If you get knocked down, get back up and keep working toward your goals.
Favorite treat: Homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Most interesting place she’s visited: Paris, France.
If she had a whole day to herself: I’d relax at the beach.
