A portable Listening Assist 'crash kit' fast deployment solution resides in Hammermill 141, and can be rapidly installed in any location, providing lav pack wireless connectivity to the listening assist transmitter. With proper notice, this kit can also amplify the in-room podium computer audio. Also call BITS 814-217-4357 to request this resource be implemented.
A variety of "Live" transcription apps are also available for smart phones. These can be installed on a client's device and will transcribe spoken audio into text on their phone's screen. Some examples include:
