Wes Salandro oversees the assembly of Falcon 9 rockets and Dragon spacecraft at SpaceX. Salandro earned a degree in mechanical engineering at Penn State Behrend in 2009. He returned in May to give the keynote speech at the Richard J. Fasenmyer Engineering Design Conference.

Remington Orange, a 2026 graduate of Penn State Behrend’s Digital Media, Arts and Technology program, spent two days up close to the Liberty Bell, creating a highly detailed digital backup of one of America's most iconic symbols. "I think I used nearly every skill I learned at Behrend," he said.
