Oris was awarded second place in the Nittany AI Challenge. The team said they will use the award of $5,000 to continue their work to empower medical volunteers with AI technology for improved oral disease detection and classification in low-income communities.

OfferPilot Team members Stephen Leshko, Yaj Dewan, Omer Kandemir and Omar Rady took home the top prize of $15,000 in the 2023 Nittany AI Challenge. 

Student teams OfferPipot, Oris and TutorAI were awarded a total of $25,000 as winners of the Nittany AI Challenge. 

The Penn State Behrend community will celebrate its student-athletes at a pep rally on the Reed Union Building lawn on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Andes Manta will perform at Penn State Behrend on Sept. 21 as part of the Rhythms of Life Series.

Penn State Behrend runners won the top six spots in the men's race at the Penn State Behrend Invitational.

Penn State Behrend's esports team competes in five game franchises: "League of Legends," "Valorant," "Overwatch," "Super Smash Bros Ultimate" and "Rocket League."

Penn State Behrend renovated the lobby of Perry Hall to create a competitive esports center. Each computer connects to a 27-inch performance-gaming monitor with a refresh rate of more than 200hz.

First to Eleven will perform at the BehrendPalooza concert on Friday, Sept. 15. The music will begin at noon on the Reed Union Building lawn.
