Team members for AccentEase, a tool to convert an audio file or a lecture video into an accent that users will better understand, came together in-person and online to accept a $500 award for advancing to the next phase of the 2024 Nittany AI Challenge.
WEC hosted a panel discussion “What is Leadership and How do I obtain it?,” which was moderated by Britt Daehnke, at Behrend's Student Leadership Conference at the Bayfront Convention Center in February of 2024.
Panelists were Barb Byers ’87, director of content development at University at Buffalo office of donor and alumni communications; Carol MacPhail, an associate professor of accounting and finance at Robert Morris University and a retired partner at Deloitte in Pittsburgh; and Sarah Garnica-Saldana ’21, a financial advisor at HBKS Wealth Advisors in Erie.
