The SSRI Mentored Faculty Fellows Program supports the career development of Penn State early career faculty to train in a new area of research and/or to develop new interdisciplinary collaborations aimed at building sustainable research and securing external funding.
Craig H. Palmer earned an MBA at Penn State Behrend. Today, he leads Erie Water Works, which provides safe drinking water to 220,000 customers. “I use most of what I learned at Behrend every day,” he said.
The Penn State Behrend men’s 4x100 relay team won at Slippery Rock’s Dave Labor Invitational, finishing in 42.07. Ryan Visosky, a sophomore from Erie, won the discus event.
Tyler Stickles, a senior majoring in environmental science and biology at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has been named recipient of the 2025 Ralph Dorn Hetzel Memorial Award. The award recognizes a combination of high scholastic attainment together with good citizenship and participation and leadership in student activities.
