“It’s huge, getting back to hands-on experiences and being around people again,” said John McDonough, who brought a Cub Scout group to Penn State Behrend’s STEAM Fair. “We really missed it.”
“It’s nice to be able to experience so much in one place,” Casey Jack said as her daughter explored Penn State Behrend’s STEAM Fair. “The last couple of years, we haven’t been able to do so many hands-on activities.”
Penn State Behrend’s STEAM Fair featured 3D doodle pens, a wind tunnel, remote-control LEGO robots, a virtual-reality orchestra and an Easter egg zipline.
Lena Surzhko Harned, an assistant teaching professor of political science at Penn State Behrend, will moderate a panel discussion with faculty members at the Kyiv School of Economics on Thursday, March 24.
