Knowledge Center, a shared facility utilized by all tenant companies in Penn State Behrend’s Knowledge Park, has been renamed the Samuel P. Black III and Sumi James-Black Knowledge Center. The Sept. 9 announcement was celebrated by Amy Bridger, senior director of corporate strategy and external engagement at Penn State Behrend; Sumi James-Black, interim CEO of Erie Management Group; Samuel P. “Pat” Black III, founder of Erie Management Group; and Ralph Ford, chancellor of Penn State Behrend.
Penn State Behrend will host a series of info sessions for students who are interested in the college’s five master’s degree programs. The sessions, which begin Sept. 15, will be offered in-person and on Zoom.
Penn State Behrend will offer free training in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and related programs that position workers for opportunities in the Industry 4.0 environment.
