This graphic focuses on the first two elements of Project RESOLVE: 1.) A Center for Manufacturing Competitiveness to be based at Penn State Behrend’s Knowledge Park. The Center will feature Plastics, Polymer, and Metal-Casting Labs; a Heavy Industrial Vehicle Battery Test Facility for Locomotive, Mining, and Marine; Outreach & Public Education; and Growth Tenant Space plus Plant to Plants capability; 2.) Dr. Ala Stanford, Penn State class of 1991 and 1997, a pediatric surgeon and advocate for health-care equity who began her college career at Penn State Behrend, has been named one of 14 Alumni Fellows for 2022.
The Penn State Behrend women’s cross country team won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championship at Mt. Aloysius on Oct. 29. Savanna Carr, a senior from Franklin, won the individual title.
