More than 1,400 people attended Penn State Behrend's STEAM Fair, which introduced basic science and technology principles in fun and hands-on ways.

A spin-art station at Penn State Behrend's STEAM Fair taught area youth about inertia and centrifugal force. "Art is all around us, whether we know it or not," said Britney Shaw, a volunteer from Zurn Elkay Water Solutions.

A locomotive simulator was one of more than 100 activities at Penn State Behrend's STEAM Fair. Wabtec has been a longtime partner at the event, which is now in its 11th year.

The STEAM Fair at Penn State Behrend included a TV green-screen from WQLN Public Media. Volunteers used it to immerse youth into their favorite PSB programs.

Virtual-reality headsets were popular at Penn State Behrend's STEAM Fair. Virtual immersions included games, manufacturing simulations and a locomotive simulator.
