The Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championship, with Behrend runners in five of the top 10 spots.
Jeremiah Keyes, an assistant professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, studies the complex signaling networks that control a cell’s response to stimuli. He previously worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of California at San Diego.
Ashley Russell, an assistant professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, studies extracellular vessicles, which allow cells to communicate with one another. She also studies the effects of chronic stress during pregnancy.
Completion of phase 1 celebrated with virtual dedication. A Sept. 18 ribbon-cutting officially opened the improved trail system at Penn State Behrend’s Wintergreen Gorge.
