More than 280 students will present their senior capstone projects at the Richard J. Fasenmyer Engineering Design Conference at Penn State Behrend on April 30.
Melanie Hetzel-Riggin, a professor of psychology at Penn State Behrend, has been named director of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has taught at Behrend since 2013.
"The scientists are doing their job," said Beth Potter, associate professor of biology at Penn State Behrend. "They are following the evidence, and they are trying to determine the most meaningful response. But science is never a straight line."
"People are desperate for answers," said Michael Campbell, distinguished professor of biology at Penn State Behrend. "They want to get back to their normal lives. I do, too. But right now, we are all living through a big experiment."
