This sculpture of a stage-5 Sierpinski tetrahedron is a model of a fractal -- a structure with infinite triangles. It was built by students in the Math Club at Penn State Behrend.
A quilt sewn by Pam Silver, associate dean for academic affairs at Penn State Behrend, includes a color for each scientific discipline that is taught at the college.
Robert Wittman coordinated intramural and recreational programs at Penn State Behrend for nearly 30 years. He also was the facilities coordinator at Junker Center, the college's multi-purpose athletics center.
Sheila Ogden led the Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team to a 34-3 mark in conference play during her four years as a starter. She is still ranked third in career kills (1,161).
Joe Nelson led the 2009 Penn State Behrend golf team to the AMCC title and was named AMCC Golfer of the Year. He won four tournaments, including the AMCC Individual Championship in 2008, and was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team three times.
Andy Iams was a two-time captain of the Penn State Behrend cross country team. He was named to the North East All-Region Team and was a Mason-Dixon Conference Champion in the 10,000-meter run.
Kevin Gorny was a two-time AMCC champion and Runner of the Year. He led Penn State Behrend's cross country teams to AMCC titles in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In track-and-field, he was a three-time Mason-Dixon Conference Champion in steeplechase.
Brooke Gallentine Muraco was a four-year starter for the Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team. She competed in three ECAC tournaments and is second in career assists (4,170) and eighth in digs (1,226).
