New rankings by U.S. News & World Report place the engineering programs at Penn State Behrend among the top 50 undergraduate engineering programs in the nation.
Penn State Behrend has earned a bronze rating from STARS, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System. “This tells us where we are, in terms of sustainability, and what steps we need to take next,” said Sherri “Sam” Mason, the college’s sustainability coordinator.

The poet Lynn Emanuel will read from her work when she joins the Smith Creative Writers Reading Series at Penn State Behrend on Sept. 24. The 6 p.m. reading, which is free and open to the public, will be on Zoom.
