The John M. Lilley Library isn't just a repository for books. Inside Lilley Library you'll find access to Penn State's vast physical and digital-media holdings across the commonwealth, areas for quiet study and group collaboration, the Behrend Archives, an art gallery, and the Center for Learning Excellence, which offers tutoring services and helps students find study abroad experiences.
The 72,800-square-foot Junker Center features three all-purpose courts and a gymnasium seating 1,600, an eight-lane swimming pool, weight room, three-lane running track, jumping pits, aerobics room, locker rooms, offices, and a variety of exercise equipment.

Faisal Aqlan, an assistant professor of industrial engineering, at left, joins Phil Jones, a lecturer in engineering, and Joy Armbruster, an administrative support assistant, in the materials lab at Penn State Behrend's Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Center. The team reconfigured the lab during a three-day event in late 2019.
Jay Amicangelo, a professor of chemistry at Penn State Behrend, adapted several new teaching techniques when Penn State moved to a remote-learning environment. He plans to continue using the new tools when face-to-face classes resume at the college.
