Avi Loeb will discuss the search for extraterrestrial life on Friday, Nov. 1, when he visits Penn State Behrend as part of the college’s 2019-20 Speaker Series. His talk, which is presented in partnership with the Jefferson Educational Society and its Global Summit Lecture Series, begins at 7:30 p.m. in McGarvey Commons, in the college’s Reed Union Building.
Harborcreek Township supervisor candidates Steve Oler and Lynda Meyer will debate issues of importance to the community during a forum at Penn State Behrend on Wednesday, Oct. 23. The program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the McGarvey Commons of the Reed Union Building, is free and open to the public.
