Nearly 175 area high-school students attended Penn State Behrend’s “Women in Engineering” program, which featured volunteers from Wabtec, Zurn, Parker LORD and National Fuel.
The Penn State Behrend men’s volleyball team won its home opener, defeating Geneva, 3-1, at the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Invitational. Cameron Schleicher, a junior from Meadville, had 16 kills and five digs.
Pennsylvania Sea Grant, a program supported by Penn State and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, has launched a new video series featuring eight research projects conducted across the commonwealth. The projects, funded by the Pennsylvania Sea Grant program, address pressing coastal, watershed and community-based issues.
