Undergraduate students from across the United States presented their summer research projects at the Research Experiences for Undergraduates Symposium on July 30.
Staff members in Penn State Behrend’s Centers for Teaching and eLearning Initiatives recently developed a 360-degree virtual tour of Metco Industries, a powdered-metals manufacturing company located in Saint Marys. The company produces various steel and bronze parts and employs nearly 150 people.

Previously known as ultimate frisbee, ultimate is a non-contact team sport played with a flying disc. This summer, Penn State Behrend offered an introduction to the sport through the College for Kids program.
A simulation created by engineering students at Penn State Behrend increased the efficiency at a product distribution center, saving time and money as shipping pallets are moved through the facility.
