Rotko and Fellows were two of 50 seventh- and eighth-grade female students to attend the weeklong science, technology, engineering and math camp.
Held in late June, GE Girls @ Penn State Behrend is one of just 20 such programs of its kind in the world. Fifty seventh- and eighth-grade female students attended the weeklong science, technology, engineering and math camp where they were paired with female mentors from GE Transportation.
Jupiter (pictured) along with Venus, Saturn and Mars will all be visible this summer. To commemorate the occasion, the School of Science at Penn State Behrend invites guests to visit the college for three special Telescopic Observing Nights.
Five Penn State Behrend faculty and staff members were featured in the Erie Reader's "40 Under 40" list for 2018. Ten graduates of the college also appear on the list.
