AJ Nichols, a sophomore from Pittsburgh, pitched a complete game against Penn State Altoona, allowing just one earned run. She was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference pitcher of the week.
The sixth Innovation and Emerging Plastics Technologies Conference will be held June 21-22 at Penn State Behrend. Attendees of the two-day conference will hear presentations by several industry experts and take part in hands-on tutorials, many of which will be held in the college’s 10,500-square-foot plastics processing lab, the largest, most comprehensive plastics training lab in the country.
Tickets are now available for "Love Call me Home," the spring concert from The Young People's Chorus of Erie. The concert begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at Luther Memorial Church, 225 West 10th St.
Greg Filbeck has been named director of the Black School of Business at Penn State Behrend. He has taught at the college and served in various administrative roles since 2006.
"People think a library has to be a quiet, stuffy place," says Stephanie Diaz, a reference and instruction librarian at Penn State Behrend's John M. Lilley Library. "There's value in that. But there's a lot more to what we do here."
