Erie native Will Taylor was the first AmeriCorps VISTA member at Penn State Behrend. He helped manage the campus garden and food pantry and the Waste Not program, which donates food to the Erie City Mission.
Natalie Splinter earned a bachelor of science in finance through Penn State World Campus. She traveled to Pennsylvania for the first time to participate in the commencement ceremony at Penn State Behrend. "I worked hard for this," she said. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."
