On Saturday, Sept. 9, The Mentor Project will host a Team Building and Leadership Event at Penn State Behrend. The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be held in McGarvey Commons, located in the college’s Reed Union Building. It is free and open to the public.
The Penn State Alumni Association will recognize 14 graduates on Oct. 4 with the lifelong title of Alumni Fellow, the highest award given by the Alumni Association.

Becky Hammon, the NBA's first full-time female coach, will discuss her career journey Sept. 13 when she visits Penn State Behrend as part of its Speaker Series. Her presentation — “ASSIST: The Keys To Successful Leadership & Teamwork” — begins at 7:30 p.m. in the college’s Junker Center.
Penn State Day Open House will take place on Saturday, October 14. This Saturday program offers high school students and their families the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and students. An information fair and presentations from academic programs and other departments provide a wealth of information. The event includes a student-guided campus tour.
