Improvements to the trail system in the Wintergreen Gorge at Penn State Behrend will protect plant and animal life in the area, which is popular with hikers and trail runners.
The Penn State Behrend Jazz Ensemble's annual fall concert will feature selections from the standard repertoire — Ellington, Mingus, etc. — as well as arrangements of popular modern songs, including Queen's “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun.”
The fifth annual Holiday Sing-Along will be held Monday, Nov. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the McGarvey Commons of the Reed Union Building at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
Tiffany Eichler, a senior psychology major from Zelienople, Pa, plays Nintendo Switch during Extra Life 2017, an international one-day gaming marathon. Members of the Game Developers Club at Penn State Behrend raised $851, which will support the Erie-based Saint Vincent Health System and its pediatric intensive care unit, by participating in the marathon.
