Penn State Behrend track-and-field athlete Charlie Motter won the javelin event at the recently held All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference championships in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Motter, a sophomore from Oil City, won the event with his final throw — a personal-best distance of 61.26 meters.

Penn State Behrend’s baseball and softball teams won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships on May 9. The baseball team defeated Alfred State, 12-6. The softball team defeated Penn State Altoona, 8-7.
The Penn State Sustainable Labs Program continues to expand its reach across campuses while advancing efforts to reduce the environmental impact of research spaces. The 2025–26 cohort included 20 labs spanning multiple colleges, with seven labs recertifying after participating in the program’s inaugural 2022–23 cohort. The program supports research teams in adopting sustainable practices without compromising scientific discovery, with participation remaining free to all labs.
