Behrend student-athlete sets records with discus throw

Penn State Behrend track-and-field athlete Dan Dabrowski set school and meet records in the discus on the final day of the State University of New York Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. Dabrowski, a senior from Harborcreek, recorded a 53.32-meter throw, breaking a meet record that was set in 1979.

Behrend professor preps next generation of nurses

The transition from patient-facing care to teaching wasn't a stretch for Daniel Eaton, who joined the faculty at Penn State Behrend in 2015. "All nurses are teachers," he said. "In any medical setting, teaching is a huge part of the job."
