As distinguished professor of biology and director of the Lake Erie Regional Grape Research and Extension Center, Michael Campbell fostered generations of undergraduate researchers. “You don’t have to hand them a map,” he said. “Just point them in a good direction.”
The Run for Women 5K run/walk returns to Penn State Behrend on Sunday, Aug. 30. The annual event, which is hosted by the Women’s Engagement Council, is designed to build community among women at all fitness levels.
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the H&SS Student Advisory Club will host the fifth annual Kochel Karnival from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, in McGarvey Commons.
A $1 million gift from Pamela and Brian Kupchella has created a strategic investment fund that will support initiatives at Penn State Behrend. "Pam and I wanted this gift to express our confidence in Behrend's future," Brian Kupchella said.
