Three Penn State Behrend students recently received the University Libraries' Undergraduate Research: Excellence in Information Literacy Award for their work with Behrend faculty members.

Faculty members at Penn State Behrend are using custom Zoom backgrounds to increase student engagement during this period of remote learning. "I wanted to do something that would make this a little more fun," said Charlotte de Vries, an assistant professor of mechanical engineering.
Penn State Behrend's STEAM fair is the college's largest single-day outreach event. More than 1,500 people attended this year's program, which was free and open to the public.
Six former student-athletes -- three of whom still hold program records -- have been inducted into the Penn State Behrend Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony was held in McGarvey Commons, in the college's Reed Union Building.
More than 1,250 students attended Penn State Behrend's fall Career and Internship Fair on Sept. 25. The program was open to current students at every college in Erie County.
