Dr. Yuriy Matsiyevsky, head of the Center for Political Research at Ostroh Academy, examines civil and armed resistance in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Crimea. Using open-source data, he explores how repressive measures sparked peaceful protests, covert actions, and partisan resistance, including the “Yellow Ribbon” movement. He also highlights the role of partisan units engaged in armed resistance.
