Biography
Gretchen joined Erie Insurance in 2012 where she worked in project management in construction and IT for several years. While in IT, Gretchen began to experiment with agile practices, including working as a Scrum master, running proof-of-concept experiments, and optimizing her team’s flow of value.
Gretchen entered into formal leadership in 2020, managing the Personal Lines policy management system team and support teams. She shifted to Program Management in 2023 and began supporting ERIE’s agile transformation. Gretchen formally joined the Enterprise Business Agility team in 2024 and was tasked with building a strategic, milestone-based plan to mature the organization on its agile journey and build an internal agile coaching bench.
Gretchen holds a B.S in Elementary Education, a Master's in Elementary Education, and her PMP certification. Gretchen is actively working to become a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Gretchen joined the EIR program in Fall 2025, working closely with the PSCM program.
