- Electrical Power will be turned off in the Reed, Parking Deck, and Maintenance Buildings, however, IT Services may still be unavailable campus wide as they rely on services from other buildings. Battery backup for Behrend: Network Access and Behrend: Telephony is expected to be depleted shortly after the outage begins. Wireless and wired internet may be unavailable if backup batteries are depleted. Door and gate card access may be unavailable, and doors and gates may default to a closed and locked state. Users may be unable to access office and lab computers remotely or on campus. Remote Lab, remote desktop, and WebLab systems may be unavailable. As an alternative webapps.psu.edu and webfiles.psu.edu may be used to access resources from off campus.
