Penn State Behrend’s Plastics Processing Lab encompasses over 10,500 square feet of space, relatively the size of a medium manufacturing plant. Equipment includes injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, compounding, thermoset compression molding and robotics, as well as related auxiliaries like molds, dryers, blenders, thermolators, chillers, feeders, etc.
