Part-Time Faculty Positions
The School of Science at Penn State Behrend has a need for part-time instructors in astronomy, biology, chemistry, environmental science, geoscience, geography, mathematics, and physics for fall (August) and spring (January). These positions are dependent upon class enrollments; enrollments of fewer than nine students may necessitate canceling the class and position. Salary is competitive. Responsibilities include using a syllabus and course materials approved by the School of Science to teach courses offered in our baccalaureate programs. A Master of Science degree or higher is required; evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching, including use of current technology; and evidence of a commitment to working collegially and with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
