Penn State Behrend’s track and field teams competed in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships at Moravian University on May 18 and 19.

ERIE, Pa. — Penn State Behrend’s track and field teams competed in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships at Moravian University on May 18 and 19. Dan Dabrowski, a sophomore from Harborcreek, placed third in the discus. He currently ranks 10th in the NCAA’s Division III.

Baseball

Jacob Lindow, a senior from Bridgeville, pitched 6.2 innings in the opener. He struck out five batters. Zac Bogats, a junior from Coraopolis, scored in the nightcap.

Men’s track and field

Dan Dabrowski, a sophomore from Harborcreek, placed third in the discus at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships at Moravian University. He completed a throw of 50.92 meters — a personal best. Blake Burns, a junior from Jefferson, Ohio, placed fourth in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing in 15.17 seconds — also a personal best.

Women’s track and field

Olivia Nola, a freshman from Erie, placed fifth in the 5,000-meter race at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships at Moravian University. She also ran a leg of the 4x800-meter relay, along with Ivy Laffan, Savanna Carr and Emily Ferrans. They placed 10th, finishing in 9:55.84.
