The Penn State Behrend women’s bowling team won two matches against D’Youville on Oct. 26. The Lions lost the Baker-format match, 1-4.

ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend women’s bowling team won two matches against D’Youville on Oct. 26. The Lions lost the Baker-format match, 1-4.

Behrend’s soccer, volleyball and water polo teams also were in action last week. Here are the scores and highlights:

Men’s soccer

Penn State Behrend 4, Carlow 0

Penn State Behrend 3, Waynesburg 0

The Lions outshot Carlow, 30-0. Blake Cooper, a senior from Murrysville, scored twice against Waynesburg.

Women’s soccer

Penn State Behrend 8, Carlow 0

Penn State Behrend 2, St. John Fisher 1

Three of the team’s six seniors scored against Carlow. Trinity Prestash, a senior from Philipsburg, and Audra Kuzma, a senior from Center, each scored twice.

Women’s volleyball

Penn State Behrend 3, Carlow 0

Cadence Jones, a freshman from North East, had 15 kills and 11 digs. Brynne Smith, a freshman from Butler, had 30 assists.

D’Youville 4, Penn State 1 (Baker format)

Lillie Holt, a junior from Pulaski, led the Lions with a 229 against D’Youville. Sidney Basta, a senior from Latrobe, bowled a 226.

Mercyhurst 15, Penn State Behrend 8

Salem 21, Penn State Behrend 10

McKendree 17, Penn State Behrend 8

Gannon 19, Penn State Behrend 8

Jack Holl, a senior from Greenwich, Connecticut, scored four goals against Mercyhurst at the two-day Gannon Invite. Nick Thompson, a freshman from Hudsonville, Michigan, scored four goals against McKendree.
