Recommended Scheduling for MBA Students

Follow the scheduling below to add the Certificate in Project Management to your MBA. Prior to enrolling in project management courses, you must apply to the certificate program. Contact Graduate Admissions at [email protected] to determine when you should apply.

If you have questions about electives or scheduling, contact Dr. Al Warner, academic adviser for MBA students.

 
MBA Students Starting in Fall Semester 

Part-Time Students

  • Year 1, Fall semester: B ADM 512 and B ADM 513 (Project Management Certificate option: MANGT 510 in lieu of B ADM 512 or B ADM 513) 
  • Year 1, Spring semester: B ADM 510 and B ADM 526 
  • Year 1, Summer semester: Two electives (Project Management Certificate option: two MANGT electives) 
  • Year 2, Fall semester: B ADM 554 and B ADM 525 or other elective (Project Management Certificate option: B ADM 554 and the course not taken in Fall 1)
  • Year 2, Spring semester: B ADM 532 and B ADM 514
  • Year 2: Summer semester: (Project Management Certificate option only: one MANGT elective) 

Full-Time Students

  • Year 1, Fall semester: B ADM 512, B ADM 513, B ADM 554, and an elective 
  • Year 1, Spring semester: B ADM 510, B ADM 514, B ADM 526, B ADM 532 
  • Year 1, Summer semester: Two electives 
     

MBA Students Starting in Spring Semester

Part-Time Students

  • Year 1, Spring semester: B ADM 510 and B ADM 526 
  • Year 1, Summer semester: Two electives (Project Management Certificate option: MANGT 510 and another MANGT elective) 
  • Year 1, Fall semester: B ADM 512 and B ADM 513 
  • Year 2, Spring semester: B ADM 532 and B ADM 514 
  • Year 2, Summer semester (Project Management Certificate option only: MANGT elective) 
  • Year 2, Fall semester: B ADM 554 and an elective (Project Management Certificate option: MANGT elective) 

Full-Time Students

  • Year 1, Spring semester: B ADM 510, B ADM 526, and 400-level elective 
  • Year 1, Fall semester: B ADM 512, B ADM 513, B ADM 554, and MBA elective 
  • Year 2, Spring semester: B ADM 514, B ADM 532, and 400-level elective 

Please note: B ADM 510 is a co-requisite. B ADM 532 is a co-requisite. B ADM 514 will be scheduled only during spring semesters. B ADM electives are subject to change based upon faculty availability. 400-level electives are undergraduate courses; contact Dr. Al Warner for approval.
