Mailing Packages
If you have a U.S. Postal Service package to mail, you must have proper address information and a return Penn State Behrend address. For resident students, please follow the example shown for each residence hall on the HFS website.
The shipper must get the package weighed at the Mail Services window and use LionCash to mail the package (minimum $1.00 purchase).
For more mailing options, refer to the Off-Campus Mail Vendors.
Receiving Packages
When the mail room receives a package, it is logged into the eLiving system, and an email is automatically sent to the recipient to inform them that mail or a package is waiting for pick-up at the Mail Services window. If the mail or package(s) have not been picked up within seven days of arrival, a second notice will be sent to the recipient. After ten days, the item will be returned to the sender.
Delivery Services
Using food and delivery services (e.g., DoorDash, UberEats, Walmart Delivery, Hello Fresh) to send orders to the mail room is not recommended. We cannot refrigerate perishable goods and are not responsible for spoiled items. If your item is not picked up by 5:00 p.m. the day it is delivered, it will be discarded.
