Brandon Konieczki set an indoor program record in the long jump at the Brockport Multi, clearing a distance of 7.09 meters. He won the event and qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference regionals.
Members of Behrend Benefiting THON dance during a 24-hour marathon in the Fasenmyer Building at Penn State Behrend. The 24-hour event is a warm-up for the 46-hour THON, which begins Feb. 21.
For members of Behrend Benefiting THON, Penn State’s IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is a year-round effort. “These kids don’t take a break,” one volunteer said. “Neither should we.”
The Penn State Behrend men’s basketball team defeated Carlow, 75-50, in an away game on Jan. 28. The Lions scored a season-high 14 three-pointers. The team also defeated Mount Aloysius, 86-57.
