Emily Griffin, a rising senior studying community, environment, and development, is the current president of the student-run Lion's Pantry at Penn State. She has been active with the team at The Lion's Pantry since her first semester of her first-year on campus.
The Penn State Behrend Speaker Series will continue Feb. 13 with a program featuring the actor and writer Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Beard on the Apple TV+ series “Ted Lasso.”
A new series of on-campus and online events will offer prospective graduate students information about Penn State Behrend’s five master’s degree programs, which include courses in Erie and at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township.
The Intrieri Family Student-Managed Fund at Penn State Behrend is now worth more than $1 million and is generating scholarships for the student analysts who manage it.
Penn State Behrend has partnered with the Corry Higher Education Council to offer new certificate courses in basic email, Microsoft Word, LinkedIn and job-search and networking platforms. A $44,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry is funding the initiative.
