The Women’s Engagement Council at Penn State Behrend has selected Ann K. Scott, community outreach manager for Erie Insurance Group, as the inaugural recipient of the Mary Behrend Impact Award, which recognizes individuals who support and lift women in the Erie community.

The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team won 14 events at the Behrend Invitational on April 16. The men’s team won 13 events — including six of the field competitions.
A new $1 million endowment created by the Kay Hardesty Logan Foundation will expand and extend Music at Noon: The Logan Series, which makes concert-level chamber music accessible to new audiences through a series of informal lunchtime performances at Penn State Behrend.
