Penn State Behrend runner Carter Tobin won the 60-meter dash at the Houghton December Classic. He finished in 6.85 seconds – a qualifying time for the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference.
Dr. Matthew Gruwell, associate professor of biology, recently returned from a yearlong research expedition in South Africa, where he studied freshwater ecosystems in the rivers of Kruger National Park.
This summer, Dr. Cora MacBeth, a chemist with more than twenty years of experience as a faculty member, researcher, and academic administrator at Emory University, was appointed director of Penn State Behrend’s School of Science.
