Penn State Beaver, Behrend and Greater Allegheny have expanded degree offerings in health care, engineering and technical fields to meet Pennsylvania workforce demand, with hands-on, industry-aligned programs. The Penn State Institute for Computational and Data Sciences has awarded eight teams of Penn State researchers with Mid-Scale Seed Grants for projects that will contribute to one or more of the institute's five research hubs or affiliated centers. The program awarded 23 Penn State faculty members representing six colleges and three campuses — University Park, Behrend and Hershey.
