Dr. Richard M. Lerner is a PCA National Advisory Board Member and professor of psychology at Tufts University, occupying the Bergstrom Chair in Applied Developmental Science. The Penn State Bookstores, managed by Barnes and Noble, has awarded its second round of grants to support a range of programs and initiatives across the University. As previously announced, the bookstores launched the new grant program through a five-year, $1.25 million commitment to the University.

A total of 50 seventh-and eighth-grade female students attended GE Girls @ Penn State Behrend during the week of June 19-23. The program — one of just 20 in the world — is a weeklong science, technology, engineering and math camp held on campus.
As part of the Bridge Design session, middle school students who attended GE Girls @ Penn State Behrend were tasked with building trusses and ultimately assembling a bridge. Here is a look at the finished product.
Taylor Morris graduated from Penn State Behrend with a degree in psychology this past May. The Bradford, Pennsylvania, native was recognized this spring with the Ralph Dorn Hetzel Memorial Award and the Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award.
