Why Penn State Behrend?
Behrend’s MBA program is flexible and convenient, and designed for working professionals. The program can be pursued on a full-time or part-time schedule, and classes are delivered in a hybrid format of primarily online learning with in-person meetings four evenings per semester. Plus, you can choose to pursue your MBA in either Erie or Pittsburgh—making it easier for you to earn a Penn State master's degree, no travel required.
Regardless of where you study, the faculty and curriculum will be the same, emphasizing continual application of best practices, applied research, and forward-thinking ideas. Our MBA faculty have significant experience in both the business and academic worlds, consulting with cutting-edge businesses and traveling the world to share their expertise.
You'll earn a prestigious Penn State degree while studying in the AACSB-accredited Black School of Business, recognized as one of the country’s top business schools and ranked as a best value for students.
Hybrid MBA Advantages
The hybrid MBA program at Penn State Behrend offers you the best of two worlds—the convenience of an online degree with the face-to-face networking of in-class meetings.
The program is 75 percent online and 25 percent in person, with classes meeting one evening per month. Smaller cohorts and in-person contact with professors create a more personal MBA experience, with opportunities for in-depth discussions and group projects.
Add a Specialization
It’s easy to personalize your MBA by adding a graduate certificate.
Our graduate certificates in Organizational Leadership, Financial Analysis, and Financial Engineering can be completed without adding any additional credits to the MBA degree. The graduate certificate in Project Management can be completed by adding just one more course to the MBA degree.
You can work with your academic adviser to choose electives to satisfy the requirements of the graduate certificates.
