Opportunities to Get Involved with International Student Services
International Student Welcome Leaders
We are looking for responsible, friendly, and outgoing returning students to help us with the International Student Welcome Program at Penn State Behrend. One important thing to note is that signing up to be an ISW Leader is NOT the same as being a Welcome Week Guide.
To apply to be an ISW Leader, please watch for an email from our office when the application opens. Candidates will go through an interview for selection, and will be informed via email if they are selected to be an ISW Leader.
We are looking forward to welcoming all of our new students this spring, and would love your help! ISW Leaders play a huge part in making Behrend feel like home for our first-year students!
Global Ambassadors
Apply to be a Global Ambassador and be a part of a new program that trains future world leaders through intercultural leadership development. Become a Global Ambassador, and you will gain experience through working with professional staff to design, plan, and implement culturally-centered programming on campus. If you are interested, come to a Global Eats event and learn how you can become an Ambassador, or email Riki at [email protected] or Alecia at [email protected].
Get Involved in Clubs on Campus
With more than 140 clubs and student organizations, there are several ways to get involved at Behrend. Login to BehrendSync to find an organization that suits you best.
