Chief investment strategist and regular CNBC contributor Mark Luschini will discuss the 2018 outlook for the financial markets when the Finance Speaker Series returns to Penn State Behrend on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

ERIE, Pa. — A chief investment strategist and regular CNBC contributor will discuss the 2018 outlook for the financial markets in the next presentation of the Finance Speaker Series at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.

Mark Luschini’s presentation, “What Will 2018 Bring as an Encore?” will be held Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in room 180 of the Jack Burke Research and Economic Development Center, 5101 Jordan Road. The program is free and open to the public, and free parking will be available in the deck located behind Burke Center, off Technology Drive.

During his talk, Luschini will discuss the acceleration of U.S. economic activity in 2017 and touch on how monetary impulse fueled a rise in global risk assets. He will also outline what investors can expect as far as returns in 2018.

Luschini is the chief investment strategist at the financial services firm Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and the president and chief investment officer at Janney Capital Management. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has grown in assets to more than $3.5 billion. Luschini is also regularly featured as a financial markets commentator on CNBC.
